INDUSTRIAL PROCESS FLOW

A process flow diagram is a diagram commonly used in chemical and process engineering to indicate the general flow of plant processes and equipment. The PFD displays the relationship between major equipment of a plant facility and does not show minor details such as piping details and designations.

DESIGN
Design is a concept or idea into configuration, drawing, model on which the actual item is based.
It is the first step in the industrial process. for every product, the design is needed to prepare. It uses a lot of thinking and also used scientific principle and mathematical calculation to create a product.

2D
To represent any design in 2d the software used is AutoCAD. The AutoCAD is used in most industries and another field (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc.). The Auto represent Autodesk & CAD represent Computer-aided Design and Drafting.  drafting refers to the proper dimensioning of sketch. It represent everything in design.

 3D MODELING
Before the fabrication 2d and 3d is prepared. 3D modelling is used to represent the object in 3 dimensions. The software used is solid work, Catia, rhino, rivet etc. We can see the object how it looks like in 3D software without fabrication. The fabrication cannot be done until the design is approved.

 FABRICATION
When the design is approved the fabrication takes place. It includes a number of processes. It uses machines, raw material

1. CUTTING
The cutting is done with the help of sawing, shearing and laser. In modern industries, the LASER Machine is used for cutting.

2. BENDING
The bending is used for bending sheet metal products. The bending with hydraulic bending machine or CNC Bending machine.

3. WELDING
Welding is the main focus of steel fabrication. Formed and machined parts are assembled and tack-welded in place. The parts are assembled with the welding

4. FINISHING
When the product is welded then it needed to be finished. Burr is removed from the product.

5. PAINT
The finished is then sent to the PaintShop for powder coating. The layer of powder coating is 70-80 ppm or 100 ppm.

 INSPECTION
After fabrication, the product is inspected by a quality engineer.

MOUNTING
Mountings are necessary parts of any product. Without it product is not completed.

FINAL INSPECTION & DISPATCH
After all these processes  the final inspection is made and then dispatched.
